Are you looking to return to a financially active membership status within Swing Phi Swing Social Fellowship, Inc.®? "Once a Swing, Always a Swing" is a popular adage within our beloved sisterhood, and we encourage and welcome you with open arms.
The National Office of Swing Phi Swing Social Fellowship, Inc.® recognizes the lifeblood of our organization is our membership; and that sometimes extenuating circumstances cause you to become finanically inactive. To assist you, we have created this page as a guide to becoming involved on an undergraduate or graduate level again.
Steps to Reactivating Your Membership
- Research chapters in your local area and determine a chapter you would like to join. Assistance can be obtained from the Regional Administrator in locating a chapter.
- Complete the online Membership Reactivation Form and pay your national dues.
- You will be notified by the Graduate Officer, Undergraduate Officer, or National Office (for lifetime members) with additional questions or an approval for reactivation.
- The National Office will provide you with a Reactivation Letter that verifies that you have met all of the requirements for active membership which you must present to the chapter of which you are seeking membership. If you’re reactivating with a chapter, you will also need to pay chapter dues and assessments (which vary by chapter).
- If you are looking to become a member of a different chapter than the one you were a member of when you became inactive, you will need to complete a Chapter Transfer Form. This form is verification that all financial obligations to your former chapter have been met. No chapter can accept an inactive member into active membership before receiving a completed Transfer Verification Form.
Once your membership is reactivated, you will receive a membership card, a current Membership Handbook, and a copy of the latest Ebony Pearl Newsletter. |
